I am a Professor - Research with the Space Science group in the Louisiana State University Department of Physics and Astronomy.  My particular scientific field of interest is Cosmic Ray science including measurements of cosmic ray composition, energy spectrum, interstellar propagation and single particle inclusive nuclear interaction cross sections.  I have also collaborated in research involving X-ray astronomy and Earth magnetospheric physics.  Further, I have a strong interest in science education and public outreach including development of in-service teacher professional development workshops on astronomy and the Highland Road Park Observatory.
