The plots on this page are diagnostic results generated from raw data downlinked during the ATIC long duration balloon flight. 

Total energy deposit spectrum taken with the LET trigger prior to the threshold change on January 5, 2001.  The threshold value is 0Fh. 

Total energy deposit spectrum taken with the LET trigger after the threshold change on January 5, 2001.  The threshold value was 17h. 

Total energy deposit spectrum taken mostly with the S3L trigger.  The line represents a power law spectrum with an index of -2.7

The track of a ~2 TeV total energy event as it passes through the ATIC experiment. 

The track of a ~5 TeV total energy event as it passes through the ATIC experiment. 

The track of a ~8 TeV total energy event as it passes through the ATIC experiment. 

Shower profile in the calorimeter for events with total energy deposit between 10 GeV and 15 GeV.

Total energy deposit spectrum for events identified as protons.  The lines represent power law spectra with indexes of -2.6 (green), -2.7 (purple) and -2.8 (blue)

The charge spectrum as determined by the hodoscopes.  Peaks for Hydrogen and Helium are seen along with indications of Carbon and Oxygen. 

The charge spectrum as determined by the Silicon Matrix detector.  Peaks for Hydrogen and Helium are seen along with indications of Carbon and Oxygen.
